Michael LaVoice
Michael LaVoice is a literary cryptid believed to survive exclusively on black coffee, obscure
science fiction paperbacks, and the emotional fallout of exploding starships. Equal parts
mechanic, madman, and microphone-wielding storyteller, he writes the kind of books that feel
like how a triple shot of Espresso tastes when used to wash down a caffeine pill. Experts have
described his writing style as “aggressively cinematic,” and “alarmingly caffeinated.”
He is the author of The Galaxy’s Most Wanted Series, The Gladius Leagues Trilogy, a vast
collection of sci-fi and fantasy short stories scattered across multiple anthologies around the
world, and most recently, the SARCOM Trilogy, which he Co-Authored with New Zealand Sci-
Fi sensation Peter Stanley.
In what little spare time he has left, he provides audiobook narration, and audio commercial
production for Defiant House Entertainment (among others), and produces the occasional video
for his YouTube channel, LaVoice In Your Head. He spends far too much time extolling the
virtues of Cyberpunk philosophy, being a Star Wars Fanboi, and arguing about Green Lantern
and other comic book heroes online.
Michael lives in a constant state of creative chaos, surrounded by books, movie memorabilia,
action figures, half-finished ideas, and at least one object that is actively sparking. Against all
odds, he remains unsupervised, and yes, that idea excites him as much as it scares the rest of us,
because, as he likes to point out, the possibilities are endless.
