The Gig

Every great convention needs an army of loyal minions to keep things running. We’re not talking world domination here—just a weekend of helping fellow fans have the best possible experience. If you’ve ever wanted to be part of the chaos (the good kind), this is your chance.

What Minions Do

  • Help attendees find their way around the convention
  • Assist with registration, badge checks, and line management
  • Deliver messages, supplies, and mysterious packages to staff
  • Set up and break down event spaces
  • Keep an eye out for anything that needs fixing, fetching, or wrangling
  • Provide general awesomeness wherever it’s needed most

What We’re Looking For

  • A willingness to help and a can-do attitude
  • The ability to stay on your feet and move around during your shift
  • Friendly communication skills (pointing and grunting only gets you so far)
  • Reliability—when you say you’ll be there, you show up
  • A love of science fiction, fantasy, STEM, or all things geeky

No experience necessary. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.
