Bill Tracy
Bill writes and publishes queer science fiction and fantasy through his indie press, Space Wizard Science Fantasy, where he also handles developmental editing for every title released.
His largest work is the Dissolutionverse — a space opera built on music-based magic, spanning ten books and a TTRPG. He’s also the author of Fruits of the Gods, an epic fantasy with seasonal fruit magic; How To Operate Your Body, a nonfiction guide to body mechanics and posture; and The Biomass Conflux, a sci-fi trilogy featuring colony ships and a planet covered by sentient fungus. He’s currently at work on a progression fantasy series about martial arts and moving islands.
An NC native with a master’s in mechanical engineering, William has designed and operated heavy construction machinery, trained in Wado-Ryu karate since 2003, and runs his own dojo in Raleigh. He’s also an avid gamer, beekeeper, reader — and when he’s not writing, he cosplays with his wife as everything from Steampunk Agent Carter and Jarvis to Jafar and Maleficent to Doctor Strange and the Ancient One (their pets get in on the fun too, for the annual Christmas card).
Indie publisher, martial artist, beekeeper, cosplayer. Join us in Virginia Beach this April to meet him!
